Tracy drove by it 9 years ago
with Jake as they were on the way to
Michigan before Jake
started law school.
I had never been back until today....
I am feeling quite
melancholy....
great friends, Jake off to preschool, 2 new babies (Renee & Geoff),
our first station wagon, lots of visitors,
a wonderful medical experience,
great ward, our first color TV,
cold winters, hot humid summers, my impatience (flowers)
grew like trees, sleepless nights as a resident,
lonely days and nights as a residents wife,
First Christmas away from home,
Great memories come flooding back!
we were Hawkeye's through and through!!
Iowa City was good to us....
It was fun to see it all again!
I am so glad you got to go back. I am sure it was neat for you! Wish we were there. Love you!
